About Us
Susan Wichmann and Dawn Anderson met whiIe working for an Annie Sloan Chalk Paint stockist. Through their days and weeks working together, their friendship grew. Susan loved painting and painted anything that wasn't nailed down (and some things that were). Dawn's strength is design. She can make the weakest floral arrangement come to life and give a shop a fresh new face. Dawn also stages homes for sale, see their Facebook Page at UpStaged Home Staging Colorado.
Paint Your Drawers was Born
Susan quickly saw what she loved was finding a great piece of furniture and transforming it through chalk paint into a beautiful handcrafted heirloom. A friend had seen the kitchen cabinets Susan had painted and asked her to paint the cabinets in a house they wanted to sell and a business was born.

Dawn was eager to learn about the paint and asked if she could help. The kitchen turned out great and the two enjoyed the process from start to finish. Paint Your Drawers was slowly taking shape. In 2014, at long last the two were in the same place and able to devote the time needed to the business to make it grow.
